right to choose

right to choose
The moral or legal entitlement of a pregnant woman to make the full and final decision either to give birth to her child or to abort the fetus.

Strict abortion laws have been attacked in the courts, on the grounds that they violate a womans fundamental right to choose whether or not to bear children.
